Early Voters - Let's Hear it!

Which presidential candidate got your vote?

  • Total voters
    38
  • Poll closed .
Texas removed the ability to vote straight ticket in 2017. That's basically the opposite of what you experienced.
Let me clarify. The party name was just for president. The selection for Senator and Congressman was by name.

Why split it up like that? Just change for the sake of change?

Did the congressional candidates have R's and D's next to their names? If so, they really didn't do anything.

Yes, but why have a format like this:

Vote for President:
() Democrat Party
Kamala Harris
() Republican Party
Donald Trump

Vote for Senator:
() John Doe (D)
() James Smith (R)

Vote for Congress
() Tom Jones (D)
() Bob Johnson (R)

Why the inconsistent formatting? There’s no reason for it, other than government workers to make an unneeded change to justify their roles.

I'm sure that it stated "Democratic Party" but whatevs.
It makes no difference at all.

Early voting has begun! If you aren't afraid of telling people who you voted for, go for it!

Wow! More people are voting 'OTHER' than for K. Harris! And nearly 6X as many are voting for Trump.

Maybe Kammy ought to just concede now while she still has a shred of dignity left.

I voted early.

First day of early voting, and the line around the place was there all day. (They did get us through pretty quickly, though.)

Now, I live in a state which is not a swing state, no senate race, no state races, and the Congressman has an opponent he is easily beating. The State Senate and House races were uncontested. (The GQP did put up candidates in 2022, but not this time.)

But still, a line around the building to get in to vote. Impressive.

Baseball is as American as apple pie.

Don't resist baseball... Especially during the world series.

I got a mail in ballot, it was just too easy in the state of Illinois to get an early ballot, so I dropped it in the box today about 2:00 PM at the county voting commission and was shocked to see a long line of voters waiting to get in the door and cars lining both sides of the street as the parking lot was full. This was 2:00 PM on a Friday.

Glad to see how passionate people get about voting these days.
