Early Judaism included, literally, the child sacrifice of the first-born by burning:

Wherefore I gave them also statutes that were not good and judgments whereby they should not live; And I polluted them in their own gifts, in that they caused to pass through the fire all that openeth the womb, that I might make them desolate, to the end that they might know that I am the Lord.” Ezekiel 20:25-26

The sick practice of male circumcision is the modern derivative.

Early Judaism evolved from the pagan cults around it and, like them, was very transactional. If you wanted God to give you something, health, babies, rain, etc., you offered something in return. The most valuable thing you had was your first born so a big ask required a big offering.

I don't know of any connection with circumcision, I think that was just a club membership thing. Kind of like baptism.

It is a ritual that is so important to God, that God was going to kill Moses for not doing it to one of his children.
For the Jews, it symbolizes the covenant between God and Abraham. For the Gentile, it is a way to help prevent disease.

Why doesnt the OP make an attempt to prove the claim in the thread title? The title and the OP arent related in any way. This thread is super weird. :dunno:

Blood is common thread that runs down throughout Judaism, ending with the "blood of the Lamb" on the cross. Of course, Judaism wasn't the only primitive religion that demanded blood sacrifice. The shedding of blood, at least in Rene Girard's theory, was the way to end cycles of mimetic violence in prehistoric times. The more innocent, the greater the "sacrifice."

Many cultures substituted less disgusting practices. The Ancient Greeks poured out libations on the ground--red wine. Modern Christians take communion by "drinking Christ's blood" eeew which is wine or grape juice (but never orange juice). Jewish rituals and certain African rituals / voodoo rituals are the only surviving traditions that I know of using actual blood.

Circumcision was and is a religious ritual--apparently a kind of compromise between the Levitical rabbis and their congregations

Another Jewish lie. I've lived in Asia and Europe, and visited many countries in South America. Circumcision is practiced in none of those places. There is no disease more prevalent there than here due to foreskin.

No, it did not. Your Antisemitism is showing. Post a link.

You know your lying. But I also know as Antisemitic asshole you are that you do not care. There is no verifiable proof of shit you have posted. That is fuck headed like you do.
Yeah, I only quoted the actual Bible. LOL

You sound angry. You're probably still pissed that they cut off the end of your dick when you were a baby and couldn't defend yourself. Let it go, bro. And ditch your primitive pathological slaughter-god.

No real God gives a fuck about foreskin.
The real one thinks otherwise:

Exodus 4:24-25 At a lodging place on the way, the Lord met Moses, and was about to kill him. But Zipporah took a flint knife, cut off her son’s foreskin and touched Moses’ feet with it “Surely you are a bridegroom of blood." So the Lord let him alone.

A major discussion occurred in (Acts 15) on the matter of circumcision. Paul and Barnabas went to Jerusalem to the apostles and elders( governing body) to end the discussion. Circumcision is no longer required under the new covenant.
1Cor 7:19= circumcision means nothing, obeying Gods commands means it all.

It was incorporated from the Philistines.
