Bit of an uneven movie this one. Great cast and a good story. Basically th army are taking supplies to the ort. James Garner is tracking his wifes killer and a woman is trying to get her baby back from the Apaches.
Sidney Poitier, Dennis Weaver and Bill trvers take the main parts and there is also an uncredited Charles Bronson. But i think the weakness is Garner. He isnt suited to the role of man of vengeance. Far better as a light leading man.
Still worth a look buy not a great movie.
