Dr. Wintley Phipps sings "Amazing Grace" at a ceremony inside the United States Capitol in Washington, DC following the arrival of the the casket carrying Rep. John Lewis. The congressman will lie in state before returning to Georgia. Upon arriving in then nation's capital Monday, there was a procession through Washington from Joint Base Andrews to the Capitol.

That is something, but it's nothing on what I've seen some of my black brethren's kin sing at their funerals. No fake music, either.
A couple of regular old black dudes in FL got way better singing than that at their funerals.
He is good. He's only 1 man, though.
That ain't the old-timey stuff, either. With 4-5 kin singing it. A Cappella and nailing it down like a 22 oz Estwing on a 10p nail.
Idk , they starting sounding like a train, and then there was the 23rd psalm..it was good.
