3. Registered Republicans split their vote. Republicans turned out in record numbers, but too many voted democrat.
4. The MSM blared that republicans support Sen Rick Scott's plan to "scrap" Social Security. A misinterpretation, but scaring seniors to vote democrat.
5. Hi-tech oligarchs, like Zuckerberg and the FTX crook gave money to republicans in the GOP primaries to nominate a weak candidate, like Mastriano in PA, also sinking the rest of the GOP ticket, like Dr.Oz.

I don't know what will happen in 2024, but if Trump runs he will get votes, but I don't think enough votes to win the nomination.

trump wasn't a named candidate for any office, but he was certainly on the ballot. If you don't want your weaker candidates being supported, then don't pick such weak candidates.
