Yep. Even if it’s a “few” but being the constant denominator for many crimes such as looting, smash and grab, mass shootings, lack of civility in public, etc created the perception problem for them.

Better question is why no black celebrities, athletes, NAACP, or congressional members speak out? They were quick when St. Floyd died.

That right there reinforces the perception problem against them.
