You made them wealthy by buying their stuff (I'm guilty as well but I'm not complaining).

The problem with the rich is they often block efforts to transform America into a more socialist society. The rich brainwash the poor and middle class into thinking socialism and communism is so evil. I get it they don't want to lose their wealth. They know they will lose money most likely if we the US became a more socialist nation since wealth under a socialist society will be redistributed. This is a very good thing and will create a better America over time, but the rich prevent this from happening. The rich wouldn't like the words of Richard D Wolff, a Brillant Marxian economist. Co-founder of the journal "Rethinking Marxism". I love listening to this guy, he is a genius.

Some rich people get rich because they're smart, they do the right things. Others get rich for different reasons, like, they buy politicians, they manipulate politics.

The political system is run by and for the rich. This means they pay less tax, and yet they'll pump loads of narratives about how fair it is that they got super rich because they manipulated the easy to manipulate political system.

In Africa it'd be called CORRUPTION. In the US it's called LEGITIMATE... simply because the rich control everything.

Sure, I know that a lot of the rich are far from being angels.

But I know that a lot of the poor are also anything but angels.

Most people would much rather walk through a rich neighborhood than through, say, the District of Columbia.

Nothing would change regarding the rich. In socialist Russia they're called 'Oligarchs'. In the book "Animal Farm" they were the pigs. Wealth is not redistributed in either socialist or communist countries. Both have rich upper-class people who are not subject to those economic rules. Everyone is equal, but they are more equal than everyone else.
