Donald Trump Is a Threat to Democracy, and Saying So Is Not Incitement

what in the world are you talking about? There have been plenty of black men and women nominated and elected to public office as a Republican. If you were black you'd know that.
No, boot licker we are talking about POTUS or VP. Not ONE has even been nominated.

I am talking about elected office. I get that it doesn't fit your demklan narrative, but the GOP has been electing african-americans to high public office since the 1800s. It took your demklan decades to catch up, and even then they only allow them in any sort of office if they are sell outs to the white man like Kameltoe Harris

"Donald Trump is a threat to democracy. That was true before an assassination attempt was foiled at his golf course Sunday, and it remains true after. Political violence in general, and assassinating presidential candidates specifically, also poses risks to democracy.

There is no contradiction between these ideas whatsoever. Yet Trump’s supporters have responded to both attempts on his life by muddying the waters, exploiting the near-tragedies with cynical efforts to redefine critiques of Trump’s authoritarian inclinations as violent provocation.
[…]
There is a more serious conceptual problem with the argument that denouncing Trump as a threat to democracy inspired violence: It ignores the truth or falsity of the matter. Taken at face value, the argument implies that we cannot say a presidential candidate threatens democracy even if he plainly does. A party could nominate a candidate who openly promises to end elections and imprison all his critics, and the opposing party would be prevented from describing this candidate as a threat to democracy for fear of inspiring assassination attempts...”

Republicans need to stop lying that appropriate, factual, warranted criticism of Trump is somehow ‘inciting’ violence against Trump.
I liked JD Vance's tough talk after. "If certain people don't shut up, people are going to get hurt!"

Vance, you are a clown show.

Smfh, but the republican party will not even nominate a half or full black candidate.

Folks like you have been sucking off and bending over for white men in the Republican party and you can't do no more than that.

Nice link. But it is patently absurd for you to say she didn't have the power/authority to ask for the National Guard. Of course she did.
what makes you think that?
At the time, the sole authority to call national guard at the capitol was the capitol police board.
Later in 2021, congress authorized the capitol police to unilaterally call for the national guard, but the speaker of the house still cant call for them.

LOL You're saying that if she asked for the National Guard, the Capitol Police would have old her "Go **** yourself, you have no authority" Is that what they told her when she ordered the fence to be up? LOL You funny.

NOT ONE nomination for POTUS or VP.

Which party has more black Representatives in the House?

Which party has more black senators in the Senate?
When has Trump ever answered a question.

Ask the fool about his economic plans and he will start talking about immigration.

/—-/ He answers them all the time. Now post a link proving otherwise, you chump.

at the time of jan6th 2021, its the capitol police board with the sole authority to call national guard.
The capitol police board is 3 persons --> sergeant at arms of house, sergeant at arms of senate, and architect of the capitol. If those people agree to call national guard, then its called. The speaker of the house has no role in capitol security. Perhaps they could listen to that person, but it would be unofficial.
Today, the capitol police themselves can call for the national guard.

LOL So what happens if the Speaker asks the Capitol Police for the National Guard? Do they arrest her/him? Shoot her/him? Stop being absurd. If the Speaker of the House asks for additional protection, in the form of the National Guard for an event on the Capital Grounds, the National Guard will be called up.

since the speaker of the house has no role in capitol security, its irrelevant what the speaker of the house wants in this regard.
This is under the auspices of the capitol police and the capitol police board.

The speaker of the house could request national guard, but the request has to go thru the capitol police and capitol police board.

/——/ And the capital police chief gets a call from the second most powerful position in the country, Piglosi would get the guard ASAP.

the senate majority leader is probably more powerful, or just as.

But if either the leader of the house or senate needs to call the capitol police chief for that, that police chief should be fired for not doing the job.

Of course it isn't incitement. Saying otherwise is just the passive-aggressive GOP victim game they always play.

I'm watching the documentary about Lev Parnas.

Trump was even more corrupt that I could have even imagined.
