The reason he lost wealth was a reduction in the value of his properties based on the reputational damage he did to himself by being among the worst prez's in history.

This is chronic among US politicians. They enter office not at all or moderately well off and leave obscenely well off. Basically, you're pointing at one guy, trying to get us to hate him for doing what you think is enriching himself (through non office related means) while there's a whole gang of others behind him doing the same thing you're claiming to be upset at. This is why you're not getting any traction trying to ramp up the hate. Someone who voted for AOC to enter office in debt and be worth millions just a handful of years later or Quid Pro Joe to explode his wealth into the stratosphere in just a few years will have to pretend to be outraged at a politician who not only lost wealth his first term but came back for more.

At best that's all you'll get, faux outrage from people not understanding their own hypocrisy. But hey, keep trying, it's entertaining.
