The taxpayers are and legislators are making part time work more attractive to business owners with their over regulation of the market. WalMart's cost will be passed on to the consumer so you aren't helping them. And most aren't making minimum wage anyway.

Ok, here's the deal. Lets say you are paying 15% federal income taxes. The wonderful government raises your taxes to 30%, will your personal economy be better or worse?

It will have zero impact on my income if it is below the 30% tax bracket and if I am earning enough to be in the 30% bracket the impact will be minimal.
