Well, that's true if anyone is doing it for recognition.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, I do have two paintings in my house that are quite nice, and that I bought literally at a "Starving Artist Sale".

One of them is named, The Madonna on a Donkey, and it is interesting.
People can look at it for the longest time and not make heads or tails of it, but as soon as you tell them name, you just cannot help but see it immediately. I mean you don't need to twist your mind around it, and it was always right there.
