Absolutely FALSE! I live in Florida, have worked in security here, am familiar with Florida law, and what Zimmerman did in no way fits the definition of "stalking". He WAS attacked, as witnesses testified, and had a perfect legal right to shoot Martin, in self-defense.

Zimmerman was a 'Action Hero' / 'Cop-Wannabe' who overzealously pursued someone in his neighborhood who should not have been there / did not live there. He called the cops, as he was taught by the Police to Neighborhood Watch Members. THEN he continued to 'stalk' Martin.

IMO 'race' played a part, as Z saw a black male wearing a 'hoodie' in his neighborhood where he did not belong 'acting suspiciously'. From that point on STUPIDITY played more of a part for Z than anything else. Martin made a bad choice to confront Z, especially if he sought to 'teach him a lesson'.

WHAT would have prevented this:
1. Z backing down after he called the police.
