Doge reduced warning and response time for the Texas flood.

Like Pavlov's dogs, The Following responds to being triggered by "it's the media's fault" not by salivating but by dismissing the media's legitimacy when Dear Leader is criticized. It's classical conditioning.
And you're just as big an asshole!

You're a disgusting human being, CNM. People are dead because of a natural disaster not because of Donald Trump!
Anyway, here's an article with sources and links. The NWS office was upstaffed as usual during expected bad weather events.

What They Needed Was Sirens in Texas

Democrats and the national media have been pointing the finger at Trump and DOGE, but on Friday night, the NWS office in New Braunfels was actually overstaffed, as is often the case when bad weather is predicted. While the normal complement is two staffers, five were manning the station that night. Flash flood warnings went out when it became clear that a danger was brewing--but unless people had a weather radio or were checking their phones in the wee hours of the night, they never got the warning.

I don't usually read Fox News, what's the point? But I thought, what's their response to the floods in Texas?

Would they be doing everything the could to control the narrative in favor of Trump and Abbott or would it be trying to be objective?

Well, sees like it's the former. Let's look

"DHS says mainstream media is 'deliberately lying' about events leading up to Texas flooding"

Ah, so the "mainstream media" (clearly doesn't include Fox "News" in this) is "lying" because.... they're not following the official narrative.

There's a tweet, or whatever they're called these days, from Homeland Security.

"The mainstream media is deliberately lying about the events leading up to the catastrophic flooding in Texas. The National Weather Service executed timely, precise forecasting and warnings, despite unprecedented rainfall overwhelming the region. Here is the timeline of NWS’s proactive response:"

In the text below this on Fox "News" it says:

""The National Weather Service executed timely, precise forecasting and warnings, despite unprecedented rainfall overwhelming the region," it continued."

Now, the issue here isn't whether the NWS issued timely, precise forecasting and warnings, it's whether ANYTHING WAS DONE WITH THESE WARNINGS. Obviously Fox "News" doesn't mention this.

Then they have "Mississippi governor prays ", yeah, that'll solve the problem.

Then a thing about Tim Walz saying he'll offer assistance.

Then you have "Alabama governor prays ", which I assume won't help either.

You also have "White House Faith Office prays"

They have a quote from Trump: "“And it's a horrible thing that took place. Absolutely horrible. So we say, God bless all of the people that have gone through so much, and God bless the state of Texas. This incredible place,” he continued."

Basically saying that Mr "I do the best floods in history" God should bless all the people.... I'm sure that'll help too.

Then you have "Former presidents share prayers"

I can basically find NOTHING that talks about what went wrong in the first place. It's just talking about God and prayer and criticizing the left wing for talking about what went wrong in the first place.

I wonder why Fox "News" doesn't want to report about what went wrong in the first place.

Well, Fox is right. It has been proven the lamestream media, and hacks like you here, are lying about this.

End of story.

Remember the people that are so scummy that they felt the need to politicize this tragedy!

Jan 24, 2025 — President Donald Trump has used social media and interviews to accuse the state of sending too much water to the Pacific Ocean instead of instead of south toward Los Angeles and highlighted how some hydrants ran dry in the early hours of the firefight in Pacific Palisades.

You talk about being being "semi educated" and then you act like nothing could be done.

Go look into what happened here. Instead of just trying to change everything to fit your narrative.
How was the trump admin suppose to stop the weather?

Tom Fahy, legislative director for the National Weather Service Employees Organization, told NBC News that weather forecasting offices were adequately staffed, and "they issued timely forecasts and warnings leading up to the storm,"

"It’s shameful and disgusting that in the wake of tragedy, the left’s first instinct is to lie and politicize a disaster to target their political opponents. False claims about the NWS have been repeatedly debunked by meteorologists, experts, and other public reporting," Jackson said. "The NWS did their job, even issuing a flood watch more than 12 hours in advance. The Trump Administration is grateful to the first responders who sprung into action to save hundreds lives during this catastrophe, and will continue to help the great state of Texas in their recovery efforts."

You can expect the Right to make endless attempts to muddy the waters (no pun intended) on the incident since the optics for Dotard are so horribly bad.
Optics aren't bad for Trump to anyone connected to reality, Dumbass.

The optics are bad for you Dimtards who are shitting on dead kids while they are still in the water.
'
disgusting.

Blind as a bat. DOGE made this disaster deadly. There is no ducking it, no hiding it, no avoiding it, nor gaslighting it. This was avoidable.
As I posted from a meteorologist right there, you're LYING once again never allowing a tragedy go to waste

There is NO CELL SERVICE in that region

She gives solutions.
Weather radio
Sensors along the river triggering warnings

This happened IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT

Interesting comparison, Nuthin! Unfortunately for you the liberal politicians in charge of water policy in California were totally incompetent...turning something that happens on a regular basis in California (wild fires) into a catastrophe! That didn't happen in Texas. It's not happening now!

The Faux Propaganda machine is a fully functioning arm of the right wing state. Any level of objectivity should never be expected. MSM continues to be your best source of information unless you want religious worship of Trump and his magats.

It is a dimocrap and all dimocraps are the scum of the Earth. I have the piece of human FILTH on ignore and only take scum off Ignore when they're getting a lot of responses from normies. Just to see what's going on.

It disappoints every time. Why do any of you even bother? Seriously, why? They are such irredeemable scum, there is no reasoning with them, no point in trying to communicate with that kind hatred and scumbaggery.
