Call me cynical, but I don't think the Dems will release anything substantial - certainly not anything that damages their creeps, or exposes the real skulduggery swarming around the Epstein affair. They'll release tidbits that smear the Rs and cover up the rest. That's why it's a mistake for Republicans to let them lead the charge on this.

Since then, Trump's DoJ has done its level best NOT to release thousands of Epstein documents, and are still hard at it.

Not only is Trump no longer calling for their release, he's trying to avoid questions about them.

If he is guilty of something (sexual assault on a minor, for instance), it's in the files they have been trying to hide.

This isn't about removing Trump or convicting him of anything.

It's about making him into a lame duck.

But that's not the end of it. The Senate has to approve it. Most indications are that it will pass there too.

But then the bill would go to Trump. Does he sign it or veto it?
