Because the so-called "Epstein Files" are sure to have names of people who never had a day in court and accusations against them which were not credible enough to warrant indictments.

Wirh some horrible exceptions, the DOJ/FBI has honored its longstanding policy of not releasing names turned up in investigations until and unless they are indicted.
