Does the Acceptance of "Jungle Basketball" Help the WNBA?

The NBA has turned loose “letting them play” for the playoffs 2025 for certain. Offensive players are clearing a path or putting arm out to chest to shove the Defense backwards off balance. More than I remember.

The refs have been very inconsistent, if you watched the last Denver-OKC game the refs were calling all kinds of stupid fouls, almost all of them against OKC. I couldn't believe it. Was OKC committing all these fouls? I wasn't seeing it, what I was seeing was the league telling the refs they wanted a closeout game 7 on Sunday in OKC.

If you watch basketball, she’s the first WNBA player I’ve seen who moves/shoots like she does. She’s just overall better.

Meanwhile, if you want a good laugh, watch Angel Reese play as she misses multiple layups and looks like a newborn deer trying to walk for the first time… and know the WNBA and the woke promote her as elite

Because they are basketball gatekeepers and want the credit for its success… any other player who who comes in and is better on merit will be assigned with race or other made-up reasons as to why they thrive

CC is not "pretty" in any conventional sense, except that looking health is attractive. If you saw her waiting tables at Diner, you would not think her out-of-place, as you might with a truly pretty young lady.

She is one of the best at playing basketball her way, which is generally within the rules. She is not the best at Jungle Basketball, as she can be neutralized by "handsy" defense that is not called.

Angel Reese, on the other hand, lacks the basketball skill to play professionally (can't dribble, pass, or shoot), but she can definitely excel at Jungle Basketball because she is relatively strong, large, and brutal.

Is this what WNBA fans, and would-be fans want to see? I think not.

They play in many top shelf stadiums. Their ticket prices are lower most likely. However, the costs for parking, food and drink are the same as the men's teams. Not such a deal. They should play in small college stadiums. That would cut the costs down and not exist as much on handouts. The league is artificial. And those athletes are better than I ever was in basketball.

The NBA gives them 3% of their revenue for some strange reason? Other than they need help, I can't think of any good reason.

Tickets prices are only one item. Commute time, Parking, Eating drinking can easily be $100 or more for two. In CA a 7PM game can take 3 hours up (thru the SJ commute valley) and 2 hours home (less traffic, but you got to get to the freeway from the one lane STD road).
