At this point, amid the abject chaos and damage, there are many who still support him.He was getting good things done, fulfilling their democratic agenda, not on some self gratifying fantasy about being king of the world and doing so through warring....so his dementia was not as noticeable or not a worry to democrats on the outside, as long as he was lucid enough at times that counted, to get things done they wanted or liked.
Much like Trumpers are stuck in supporting Trump and not seeing his dementia...
Epstein handling, this Iran war of choice, and his unprecedented vile post on Easter Sunday is waking some Trumpers up to him not being America First, not being who they voted for...but not the breaking point yet for his die hard followers....imo.
Remember back when he first ran in 2016, all the people who said they wanted the "bring the system down", and that all our institutions were corrupt and had to be destroyed? They were serious. They literally want to see destruction.
This reminds me of the Joker in the Batman comics. "Some people just want to see the world burn". Imagine how hopeless and lost a person has to be, to want that. Did you know there were that many Americans who were this miserable, in that way? I didn't.
