Yet it would seem The Jerusalem Post can't write very precise news articles, since if you click on that blue print, which is a click link, it takes you to here;

A plan involving pinpoint raids into Rafah would be expected to minimize civilian casualties while still hurting Hamas.

Hindsight shows that intelligence agencies ALWAYS knew about attacks before they happened. The information was just drowned in a mass of other information. That is a universal problem with intelligence agencies, they collect so much information that finding the nuggets of actionable intelligence is very hard.

Substitute "Rarely" for "ALWAYS".

This is one of the Top 3 nuttiest conspiracy theories I've ever come across. Even if rogue far-left Israeli officials had hatched such a plot, they would have arranged for a slightly delayed IDF ambush to obliterate the Hamas fighters after they had tore down the security fence and began killing Israeli civilians. No one who knows anything about Israel and the Israelis would believe for a second that any Israeli official would have allowed October 7 to happen.
