The constitution doesn't address Islam because in 1787 Islam was a minor religion practiced by a bunch of backwards peasants and pirates as far as the framers were concerned. Even the tiny USN had no problem defeating the Islamic Barbary Pirates when it went to war with them. The Ottoman Empire had little to nothing to do with the infant USA mostly ignoring it and the protests about its citizens pirating American ships and enslaving their crews.
