We should thank Japan for bombing Pearl Harbor, otherwise we would have eventually been taken over by Hitler, along with the rest of the world.

Our mistake relative to Wirld War II (on both fronts) was not maintaining a properly equipped and staffed military between the Workd Wars.

I’m not suggesting disarming. If anything, the exact opposite. I just want them stationed here in the USA, prepared to destroy any other country in the world within a week. Including nuclear weapons. We just don’t use them until we are actually in danger directly.

Hitler never had a chance against us. The best he could have hoped for was a Treaty that allowed him to survive.
