We were just discussing that after Christmas I need to do that for my presents. A text or an email is better than nothing, but I still think that a handwritten one is a whole lot more meaningful, but that's probably because that's how I was raised.

We haven't sent thank you cards since right after we were married. That is before a lot of you were born.

Gift giving for us is usually within the family and extended family for us, no long distance gift giving involved. Back then, at wedding time, it was a different situation and a different time.
