Those were fun days and I loved surfing the net.

Nowadays its all censored.
Movies are now all censored for fake reviews if they are woke enough
Any opposition politics is very hard to find
Conservative ideas very hard to find


Truly the internet has become something out of 1984

I've been on the internet since the early '90s. My first setup had a cradle I would put the phone receiver in and dial in to my ISP on an actual house phone. It was almost all text. If you tried to open a pic, you could go outside to smoke a cigarette or two and get back before it was done loading.

And things were "censored" then too.

^^^ I second what you say. I've been online for almost 20 years now. The only difference now is how much you see and hear about in the news when people don't like the way that things go in situations that they take any interest in. 20 years ago, there was little to no looting, protesting, and rioting in any way.
