How is tariffs helping long term? And if we are thinking long term, why are we not giving industries months/years to make plans to adjust? Anyone who runs a business knows you cant just magically move production overnight. And anyone in business knows that the way we provide value to consumers is by designing efficient systems to produce what they need at low costs and this jerking around of policies with no notice is the opposite of that. You know what inefficiency drives? Yep. Inflation and shortage.
