Exactly. This woman would have been just as successful in doing what she did with a 12 ga shotgun and properly trained with a revolver
nothing supports the claim that she needed an AR-15

Even less supports the idea that your opinion of someone's need has any relation to what that someone has a right to own and use.

Never mind your ignorance the fact an AR pistol or carbine in a major pistol caliber is, in almost every scenario, a better choice for home defense than a 12g shotgun.

I know enough to not allow any member of our hunting group to show up with one.

There's nothing in North America you can hunt with your bolt-action that I cannot hunt - with equal or better efficacy - with my AR.
See!!! You can't hunt with an AR !!!

My bolt action is a far more accurate and effective firearm. We wouldn't let an AR owner within 1 mile of our hunting land.

The length of your home, with 2-3 intruders.......you work that bolt....see how well you do..
