When I was on the road a lot my dog would not eat most fast food products. I would just give him whatever I would eat if we were out long enough we had to eat out somewhere. He lived to be seventeen years old.

Nope. But I have a friend who has an annoying habit of cooking a meal and then slipping some off to the dog's dish.

I have a cat. Not easy to cook for. I do try to give him quality food -- no grain-based kibble and no seafood. And he's healthy as a horse cat.

I bake my dogs treats, using natural peanut butter, whole wheat flour, oats, milk, and molasses. They do not eat fast food.

I wont make a special trip but I do buy the dog a cheeseburger with nothing on it if I do hit a fast food joint.
And when we do steaks I always get one for the dog,of course she gets a round steak or something equally as cheap but we dont tell her that.
