Sadly, I don't. I live in a very liberal Congressional district with an even more liberal Congressman. So, I am limited in how much I can "participate" in the democratic process. Happily, my polling place is just down the block so the time I waste voting for the conservative candidate is just a few minutes. :)

He/she is still your representative, whether or not you voted for them. That’s how it works.

Don’t live in a predominately blue district if having a democrat representative bothers you that much

Byron Donalds.

If you live in a dimocrap scum shithole, move.

If you're forced to live there due to the "Golden Handcuffs" then suck it up. I understand. Leave as soon as you can when you get the chance.

Otherwise -- Leave. Now. Before it's too late

Unfortunately the representative who is supposed to be representing me shares none of my values and is another America-hating destructive Democrat that votes 100% with the worst of that group. As do both of our senators. So I would have to say that no, I don't have a representative in Congress.

dimocrap FILTH don't represent The People. dimocrap SCUM represent 'The Party'. DNC Uber Alles is all they care about

If you don't understand that, then you are part of the problem.

I have no representation at either the State or Federal level, and haven’t for pretty much my entire life. Then again I live in New England, the bluest of blue shitholes throughout the country.

I'm used to it. Anyway, it actually saves me from "participating". More time for myself.

My district was re gerrymandered for the second time in five years. I have no clue.

That’s just hot nonsense

If the OP lives in a district that’s heavily democrat, he’s very naturally likely going to have a democrat representative. Duh.

That’s how voting works. Nothing remotely “unfair” about it.

My own congressional district goes back and forth. I don’t particularly give a shit as it doesn’t really affect my day to day life one way or the other.

I'll be here long after he's gone. :)

Yes, you do. It’s just not your preferred party.

With a few exceptions/special cases like Puerto Rico or DC, every American citizen has representation in the house and the senate.

Didn’t you people go to school?

If it were only that easy. I should have done that years ago but now I’m tied down by a wife who doesn’t want to leave her family.

I’ve accepted thst I’ll never be represented and have the appropriate tools to deal with it when it gets bad enough.
Too many good people get caught in that position. I feel for you.

My "rep" does most of the damage on a national level. Local liberals are the problem here. They don't swim so they took the piers and diving boards from all the beaches. They like to bike, so they've spent $millions on bike paths.

Of you people care about it that much, why aren’t you doing something about it?

Move to a red district

Get off your ass and campaign to get your preferred candidate elected in the district you live in

All I see are a bunch of old guys bitching online and doing nothing
