I have a cell phone and I have had the same number and service provider since 1994. I got my first cell phone in 1992. I am in the business, so I have to have one or I am being a hypocrite~ :funnyface

I have no need for a cell phone. I hardly have use for the home phone.

i did, but not any more. don't really have a need for one. either i am at work or at home. if i am out, i am usually near a payphone if i need one.

I have one that's inactive but I'm about to start it up again. It it a pre-pay...I wireless. I use it for emergencies only. So, to FreeFun & the others that do have cells, care to share some info on the phones/plans/service/etc? Then again, maybe this is all I need.

I have one because of job requirement (24 hr recall). The only time I get away from the electronic leash is when I go out on my boat and get FAR from land...but then there is always the dreaded voice mail.
