'Do We Need To Pay For Bridges?' rick scott Opposes Infrastructure In COVID Stimulus bill

Well Dana, what would expect from the man who pulled off the largest Medicare fraud in US history?
As long as Florida keeps electing idiots and criminals like Rick Scott and Ron DeSantis, they'll be in bigly trouble.

Specifically, what trouble are we in?

2017 called .. They want their graph back. ;)

Florida isn't the only state that elects people like that.

It's weird, in 2016 when trump went around the nation saying our infrastructure is crumbling and he was going to rebuild, the republicans were all for it.

trump didn't actually do what he said he would do but those of us who knew trump was lying through his teeth aren't surprised.

Now that Biden and the democrats actually try to do something about it, the republicans are all against it.

Weird how that happens isn't it?

Yes we need to pay for bridges. How many bridges have collapsed in the last decade or so?

Our infrastructure is falling apart and is seriously outdated.

The people of our nation have been calling for new infrastructure for decades.

trump ran on it in 2016 but never did anything about it once he was president.

We have trillions to throw away on tax cuts for the filthy rich but we don't need to pay for bridges?

We need responsible people in our government.

"Do we need to pay for bridges?"

What, does he think they grow in place?

I guess he either thinks that magic fairies come in the night and by magic, a bridge appears.

Or he thinks that crumbling infrastructure isn't important.

So Florida is 16th and my very blue state of Oregon is ranked 9th? Cool, but your numbers mean nothing without a link. ;)

Shouldn't we pay for infrastructure in a fucking INFRASTRUCTURE BILL?

WTF does it have to do with controlling the China Flu.

Same thing for Nazi Pelousy's underground railroad in her district.

It could be in a separate bill. An infrastructure bill could help stimulate and improve our economy. Infrastructure jobs are not minimum wage jobs.

Yes it could be in a separate bill that the republicans will filibuster.

The democrats are tired of the republican filibuster of every piece of legislation that comes out of the House of Reps.

So the democrats finally put the nation first and put the infrastructure into a bill that the republicans can kill through filibuster.

If the republicans didn't filibuster every piece of legislation and allowed democracy to return to the Senate there would be a separate infrastructure bill.

We saw what putting infrastructure into separate bills does in the Obama years.

I applaud the democrats for finally putting the nation first.

What is the population of Oregon? 4.19 million residents

What is the population of Florida? 21.73 million residents

The population of your state is about half that of New York City.

If my information means nothing, that could very well be because it is your source and link. Do you try to look foolish or does it come naturally? Apparently, you don't even read your own sources. Keep up the good work, you're fun! :D

If today's republicans were around in the Eisenhower years we wouldn't have an interstate highway system.

Christ sake, you fricken loons don't pay attention to much. He's referring to the $1.5 million for the Seaway International Bridge, a pet project for Chuck Schumer and $100 million for a Pelosi underground rail line.
