Funny while reading this I heard in the background CBS 60 minutes interview with Kevin Hart and one of the question was "are you a billionaire yet"? Hart is worth $450 million.
He will be a billionaire in a few years joining the current nine American billionaires of African descent. Right now nearly 2 million black millionaires in the U.S. as of 2023 or 8% of total millionaires are black.
This compares to only 1.9 percent of Black families in 2016.
An increase of 6.1% increase in just 4 years.
