Like another poster on here was trying to tell me that all veterans have merit. There was a time that I would have agreed with them about that but what qualifies as a veteran today? This:

As I don't think that they grasp the concept of how dangerous DEI is for our military, public schools, all professions and sports teams so that's why they don't understand why it cost them the 2024 election.

I believe that women should never be assigned combat duty. A 125 pound woman could never carry a 230 pound wounded man out of danger.

There are plenty of types of duty for which women are far better suited than men.

And all those other things? Definitely not suited for military duty at all. Keep them out. They are all about attention whoring, which has no place in the military

It is a diverse unit that includes blacks, women, Hispanics, gays, non-Christians

Women in the military face sexual harrassment, rape and discrimination. The military has done little to change that

Throwing soldiers into units with diverse membership requires Diversity type training and strict rules on discrimination that are enforced.

The Space Launch System/Orion Capsule is just one example. They are actually talking of cancelling the program. Of course, Boeing has contracts for it along with government pork adherents who promoted it.

As someone with an Army veteran for a father, he will be the first to tell you DEI doesn't make up for skills in hand-to-hand, marksmanship, leadership ability, or physical fitness. It doesn't determine your merit or fitness to be a soldier, and being confused about what gender you are should be the first red flag that you don't belong there in the first place.
