I think with transplants it is more than just demanding more be spent on schools, transportation, city services

Red communities have a “my home is my castle” mentality.
Don’t you dare tell me what I can do with my property.
Blue Staters move to a community and complain about people having junkyards on their front lawn, about abandoned properties. They also want zoning to tell businesses what type of business they can run, upkeep of property, environmental rules
