DNC Convention: It's On!

Great start. It's easy to forget just how things looked a few weeks back.
You mean back when they wanted to get rid of the rightful candidate because their lying had caught up to them ?

Back when they were talking replacements and most were NOT talking Hindenburg Harris ?

Back when you were exposed for pushing a huge lie on the American People in the form of a Joe Biden ?

O.K.

Let's go back.

**** you.

The President is not directly elected by the people. Neither is a party nominee. It appears the MAGA Low Information Voter is in dire need of a basic lesson in civics.

From post #1 it is all garbage. It’s just dim witted democrats obsessing about Trump, telling lies and being hypocrites.

You twist and turn like a worm.

Unless you really are saying primaries don't matter.

There have been threatened lawsuites against electors if they didn't nominate the guy who won the primary in their state.

Which is it ?

And, of course, **** you.

Trolls have been calling everyone else trolls since the first computer. 🙄
. . . and the ironic thing I notice when I was a mod? The folks that were whining about others trolling their threads? Never ever realized, those were the people actually keeping those threads alive and giving them oxygen.

If a senior mod actually stepped in, or if they were really bad, and one of us did a thread ban abusive content? The thread would die a few hours latter and then be forgotten.

Instead of bitching. . . you both owe me a great big thank you.

yoar welcome.

🤪

Great start. It's easy to forget just how things looked a few weeks back. It all started before the debate between Biden and Trump, but started boiling over after the debate. Make no mistake about it. The Democratic party is united. Having a big tent approach to reaching out to Americans and appealing to them is often mocked by the March-in-Lock-Step GOP. But the GOP of old (conservative et al) is gone. Over. One of Trump's own sons said so himself

Trump Jr. says ‘MAGA movement is the new Republican Party’

It was even said to be so a few years ago.

But this is about the Democratic party being newly recharged, not dismantled and set up as something beholden to one man, one woman. Let the show begin.

Reporting from Chicago
Jaime Harrison, the Democratic National Committee chair, and Minyon Moore, the convention committee chair, gaveled the Democratic convention to order amid loud cheers from an energized party inside the United Center. A few weeks ago, this was expected to be a trepidatious crowd. It’s way early, but the energy inside the hall is matching that of the Republican National Convention last month in Milwaukee, when Republicans were feeling certain of victory.
Bingo!

Viewership of the Democratic National Convention spiked on its second night and peaked at an average of 20.6 million viewers, up from 20 million on Monday, according to Nielsen.

As with Monday, the measurements were taken from 12 TV networks: ABC, CBS, NBC, Scripps News, CNN, CNNe, FOX Business, FOX News Channel, MSNBC, Newsmax, NewsNation and PBS.

Tuesday’s convention featured speeches from Barack and Michelle Obama. During the former president’s address, according to Nielsen, viewership jumped above the night’s average, to reach 21.6 million.

The first night of the DNC averaged 20 million viewers across 13 networks, and surpassing the audience for the first three days of the Republican National Convention (RNC) last month in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The first three days of the RNC reached 18.1 million, 14.8 million and 18 million viewers, respectively, according to Nielsen. Donald Trump headlined the final night of the convention, which averaged 25.4 million viewers and peaked with 28.4 million.

Somebody call for help. When Trump sees this he will attack FOX

According to Michael Mulvihill, TV analyst and president of insights and analytics at FOX Sports, FOX Entertainment, and Tubi, the DNC also had significantly more viewers percentage-wise.

DNC had 11.9 percent of sampled households watching in 44 major metro areas across seven networks on Tuesday, compared with the RNC’s 7.7 percent rating, a difference of over 50 percent, Mulvihill posted on X.

He pointed out that on night one, the DNC beat the RNC by 21 percent in the overnight figures, then 10 percent in the full nationals.
