Commentary: How do you screw up Snow White? Snow White is likely Disney's most iconic movie of all times. And yet somehow woke ideology has managed to foul a property that was once literally as pure as the driven snow.

The new trailer dropped on YouTube a couple of days ago and has managed to accumulate 40k likes and ONE MILLION DISLIKES.

Things changed from other eras. This was the fight and rightfully so. So now it is the same in reverse. And actors who transcend the woke entertainment and stand on their own may suffer for it as they may be put into the same boat. Frankly, I stay away from woke. It is easy to spot. Once I turn a film on and see a hundred-pound woman eating the crap out of 200-pound trained men, the channel changes. And there is a lot of it now. In sci fi, action, horror, drama, comedy. There are many films where you still see woke when it is a distance from it. We all have limitations. Men need heroes more than women will ever need. Men are the ones who die and become maimed in the violence to defend others. Not women. Tough women exist who can kick ass though. It is not a huge percentage though.

Nope, a lot of people do.

You don't hear anyone talking about the characters when discussing it; they talk about it as a technical achievement of being the first full length animated feature.

Kids are a lot more sophisticated than that today.

Even kids would be bored by Snow White, 1937.

In fact, if you look at a pattern of Disney remakes, the remakes of their recent films like Beauty and the Beast or Alladin do quite well.

The older movies, not so much.

Part of the reason why this movie failed was people don't care about this character.

I suspect the Lilo and Stitch remake will do quite well. Why? Because people remember that film fondly.
