The idea of homosexuality is in order to shock the straight arrows. That's why a lot of kids get involved with it, to cheese off their parents and teachers. Instead of smoking ciggies, drinking wine, or huffing lacquer, they honk people off by disregarding convention in this most basic way.

Adults aren't much different. They always just push the envelope. After Sodomy was legalized in 2003, they went after Gay Marriage. Since Gay Marriage is no longer as shocking to people, the idea that a man in a dress is now considered a broad and is allowed in the nation's Ladies Rooms is a basic tenet of faith. If that became acceptable, it will be something else. The idea is to shock. If we would have never legalized taking it in the Caboose in the 2003 Lawrence case, Homos would have never felt the need to push the envelope along.
