I wont ever forget driving downtown Toronto with my wife (years ago, we are no longer a couple), I look outside the window and there is a construction worker in full outfit working at a manhole, a cop keeping watch there with some tape around the area (what an expensive racket that is). I happened to be at a fairly well known area for gay people (Church and Wellesley area) and waiting at the red light, perhaps 10 feet from these two were two guys in leather.

I said to my wife as we were waiting at the same red light, "roll down the window and I am going to sing "YMCA" to the cop there". My wife laughed and was going to do it but then we both said,"he will probably end up being a prick and find some excuse to pull me over or ticket me with something".

We laughed often on the way home with this visual in our heads.

Well I can't say I didn't shake it back in the day but that was little head taking over for big head. No chick around then there was no disco. If it had not gotten me the ability to to do the horizontal mombo I would not have listened to it
