No, Jesus doesn't mention homosexuality in the gospels. He barely mentions any of the temple laws.

His purpose was not to solidify or support that law; it was to fulfill it, which he did. He fulfilled it, and so now that code is no longer necessary.

Homosexuality was considered an abomination under the lesser law of Moses which was give by Jesus Christ to Moses himself. The purpose of Jesus law was not to do away with the law but to fulfill the Mosaic law. Do you really believe that Jesus would do away with a sin that was considered most abominable in his own eyes? The apostle Paul in the Romans 1, who was an apostle of Jesus Christ, teaches very clearly that homosexuality is a sin.

Romans 1:16-32
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Oh, you are wrong. Jesus did support the law. And then He fulfilled the law, for the believing Israel. If one is not 'in Christ' then there is no fulfillment of the law for them.

If any Jew or Gentile rejects Jesus Christ, that is fine, you can. Then you come under the Law. Which if you believe you measure up to it, that is fine also. But make no mistake, you won't. Which then means, what did you do with Jesus Christ? Or as from the Father...what did you do with my Son?

I can hear the complaints now...the excuses...as to why they were forced to not believe because of some believer did something to them and they just couldn't believe. The Father simply asks, what did 'you' do with my Son.

To you who reject, mock, make fun of Christ, His Church and people, that is the time to crap yourself. Because that is all the Father wants to know.

Christ's suffering was the Father's plan. His Sacrifice was the Father's plan, in order to save His people. His Son, Jesus Christ was obedient to the Father's plan, to do His will. And the Father watched it. And the Son was made sin to bear the judgement from the Father. And the Father had to turn away from Him as He was now sin being judged. Causing the Son to cry out, 'Father why hast thou forsaken Me?"

The usual emphasis upon that verse is the agony of the Son. But I tell you, the agony of the Father in turning away was far greater. It was His plan and decision. It was His fault. And the Son was obedient to the salvation of many brethren.

Thus those who mock His Son, reject His Son, His only question is, what did you do with my Son?

My opinion.

Jesus supported that law? Is that so? He said only that it would remain in effect - every jot and tittle of it - until later in that generation, when he would come to destroy the temple.

And even if I were alive two thousand years ago or earlier, I would not have been subject to that law. I would not have been an Israelite. That law's jurisdiction extended only to the temple people.

The Mosaic Law is dead. Or do you know any Levites who perform priestly ministrations? Any Jews who treat their Israelite slaves better than they treat their foreign slaves? Who sacrifice animals in a temple? Who stone women for adultery?

Yea, you try living up to that law and see how long you can avoid prison.

i dont think so

if so, where?
It's not the best question

Jesus didn't have to recite the entire Old Testament

to prove He was who He was/is... or that we should pay attention to what is written there.

He quoted certain things from the Old Testament, which alone proves that He honored it. God doesn't change, and the Church Christ founded therefore includes the Old T, both the good therein and the not-so - good. But the LAW was/is all good. The bad in the OT is just human beings being human beings... (which is not to make light of such a terrible condition...)

He seems not be interested in the topic.
so it cant be so sinful as some think.

Wow, that's a big leap of "logic"

You claim to be Catholic but are not. You go against the Church's teaching (taught for 2000+ years) that we need more than Scirpture.. Catholics are NOT sola scriptura like the heretics are.

You go by your own sense of what is true or not, which everyone tends to do but when you disagree w/ the Original Church as you do here

you are in dangerous waters and need to accept the Church's teachings (one being that homosexuality is a grave and mortal sin that will send you to Hell [which I doubt Leo 14 says but we haven't had a truly Catholic head of the Vatican in decades]).

Hell is real and Jesus said FEW make it there.

I pray you make it...

it answers the OP question 😎

that jesus never mentioned the topic
So you are sola scriptura despite claiming to be Catholic!

Wow... You need a course in Logic

Or just stop calling yourself Catholic because you are definitely not

I voted Yes, even though you could have had the option: Yes, indirectly but you didn't (because you seem to like fags)

He mentioned this sin indirectly when He told the woman caught in adultery "Go and sin no more."

Sex was made by God to be btwn a man and a woman who are MARRIED to each other..

Homosexuality is blatantly and obviously against nature.

I guess OP would have us believe we should toss out the books of Romans --where homosexual acts ARE mentioned-- along w/ all the other books in the Bible that mention homosexuality (Sodom and Gomorrah)? There's that OT passage about how God's people should STONE to death men who "lie with a man as with a woman."

OK, Luther clone (!) - you who follow in the footsteps of the formally- excommunicated Catholic priest Luther (who tossed out whole books in the Bible because they didn't conform to HIS chosen beliefs

Luther... who is likely frying in Hell
