Equity is moving a child, with poor vision, to the front of the classroom, so that student can see the board 'better', and moving the replaced student with normal vision, back a row or two.

It's NOT equal, because everyone can't sit in the front row, but it's equitable, while NOT harming or affecting the replaced student one iota.
