Wait, that's impossible...Saddam didn't have any WMDs according to our leftists.....or did he?
We had plenty of satellite imagery showing Russian trucks driven by Spetsnaz in convoys headed toward Syria just before we went over the berm in Kuwait. Saddam's regular border guards between Iraq and Syria were sent away and replaced by his Republican Guard. It's said the trucks were full of WMDs, mostly of Russian origin that were about to be discovered and seized by the advancing Americans. So the Ivans decided to get the evidence out of Iraq, over the border into Syria. It's thought that those munitions later went into Lebanon but that's not been proven. So it's possible that Assad had Saddam's stash that was never reported and therefore couldn't be proven to exist. Bush43 obviously had his plate full in Iraq and Afghanistan and couldn't afford a third front. Sarin mixtures tend to degrade over time and may not be of much use after a couple years unless the Russians have figured out a way to make them more stable. But even in a weakened state (such as the last attack) they are still formidable.
