Still in print and online since 1942 - DD Runes editor. Very helpful for many topics & thinkers:

Dictionary of Philosophy

Part of the Preface:

The aim of this dictionary is to provide teachers, students and laymen interested in philosophy with clear, concise, and correct definitions and descriptions of the philosophical terms, throughout the range of philosophic thought. In the volume are represented all the branches as well as schools of ancient, medieval, and modern philosophy. In any such conspectus, it is increasingly recognized that the Oriental philosophies must be accorded ample space beside those of the western world.

The only dictionary of philosophy we needed is a compilation of invalid/illogical arguments.

I could not disagree more with that quote though.
And to get to the core of thought one should at first ignore Runes and go the Syntopicon ,the 2-volumes that cover the history of thought on the 100 Great Ideas by refeernce to the Great Books

Runes would turn into the analogue of going into a high-end food stare and eating the first 5 big treats, say Truffles, escargot, wine, exotic cheese and Swiss Chocolate. You will throw up !!

Too old to handle printed books like you suggest. Yet did find a PDF of Adler's Great Ideas: A Lexicon - that will do nicely @ 72MB!
