I can only speculate on what actually took place, but both men have a documented record of sexual misconduct, independent of their association with Epstein. Both men have very obvious ties to Epstein and spent time in his presence. Anyone who says that there's not a lot of smoke here is being a partisan.

The chances of either being diddlers has to be very low. Only a very small percentage of men are creeps and they both worked hard to be successful it wasn't just handed to them. No, but they had ample time to investigate others. That they did not would suggest to me that there wasn't enough evidence for a criminal conviction, which unfortunately is common in sexual assault cases. Lack of sufficient criminal evidence involving alleged crimes that took place 20 years ago doesn't mean those crimes didn't happen.
