When I worked for the school systems in two states and for the Department of Defense, they knew when I was logged into my system, when I worked for the Department of the Army, they knew when I logged in and I could monitor the 20 people who worked online from home when I was the supervisor. My wife worked for a major cable company and worked from home during COVID and thereafter. Her boss knew the instant she logged in and everything she accomplished during their work shift.
She does not work for the government and has no basis for her accusations, just her feelings and the alleged bragging of someone who may or may not have been trying to impress her.

Supposition on her part is bad but is not allowed for me to call her on her claims with zero evidence. Dismissed indeed.

For an "apolitical" civil service, politics certainly seems to color many of its activities. Across the federal government, we hear stories of resistance brewing. The stories are probably exaggerated but real nonetheless. And every once in a while, one of the goobers gets out over their skis and gets burned. This one, thanks to James O'Keefe and the poor girl who had to go on a date with him.
The target was a guy named Brandon Wright, who is a GS-14 IT manager at the Department of Homeland Security.

No "Deep State" supposedly, yet we see entitled, undermining, civil servants exposed like planted DNC operatives every day now. That is not part of the civil servant creed nor the agreements of contractors hired to help. Its not lawful, nor accountable to taxpayers.
