DHS has begun performing polygraph tests on employees to find leakers

The Department of Homeland Security has begun performing polygraph tests on employees to determine who might be leaking information to the media about immigration operations, according to four sources familiar with the practice. The department’s plans to perform these tests was first reported by Bloomberg Government.

A spokesperson for DHS did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Border czar Tom Homan and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem have blamed lower-than-expected ICE arrest numbers on recent leaks revealing the cities where it planned to conduct operations.

In a video posted on X Friday, Noem said, “We have identified two leakers of information here at the Department of Homeland Security who have been telling individuals about our operations and putting law enforcement lives in jeopardy. We plan to prosecute these two individuals and hold them accountable for what they’ve done.”

LOL.....This might turn into trying to find any employees who don't leak.

While I know that polys are BS, I support them being used as a tool to track down leakers. Not so much because they will catch the culprit in a lie, but because somebody they work with will probably say "you should check out so and so because of x,y,z".
I'm in favor of this. There is a lot of organization, coordination, expense and risk involved in these ICE operations. These leaks greatly hamper these operations and introduce even more risk to already dangerous work.

They need to purge the anti Americans working there.

The principles of a republic require that all political views are equally allowed.
Purging those political views you do not like is as "anti-American" as anyone could possibly get.

Then why does law enforcement routinely use them? I agree, they aren't conclusive to use in Court, but we aren't at Court. This is merely to aid in investigations. lie detector test.

Although the results are usually inadmissible as evidence, lie detector tests can nonetheless be useful in interrogations during criminal investigations. Many confessions have been made after a criminal suspect fails a lie detector test. However, any results of a lie detector test conducted on a criminal defendant that become publicized can be very influential on public opinion of the case, especially if picked up by the news media.

Federal and most state law bans employers in the private sector from requiring employees and prospective employees to submit to a lie detector test. If an employee decides to submit to a test, these laws also prohibit an employer from taking adverse employment action against an employee based upon the results. Some states allow exceptions for embezzlement concerns, in which case the testing procedure is heavily regulated and often monitored. The government may use polygraphs as part of personnel screening for employment, especially for positions dealing with national security.

Police do NOT, "routinely use them", referring to lie detector tests.
They not only are unreliable, but very expensive, so everyone but the FBI stopped using them decades ago.

"Death to America" seems like fairly plain language, ball cheese.
Now FOAD. That's anti-American. Not just perceived, you fucking retard.
Are you one of them inbred Pallys or something?
I know why they wear masks, because they're as inbred as inbred can be.
And it shows, and their intelligence shows it, too.

/---/ What motivates these leakers, arrogance or ideology?
They are facing a felony charge, serious jail time, and lost of their right to vote, own a gun, and getting bonded for any type of decent job, including federal work requiring a security clearance.
Or maybe it's just dumb criminal stupidity.

God forbid the public learns what the government is doing
/---/ No you big dope. The pubic learns once your precious gangbangers are arrested and deported. Alerting them before hand is aiding and abetting.
Get a clue will ya?

There are no "violent gangs" except the DOF, HLS, ICE, and the FBI.
They clearly are the ones violating the law, like sending innocent people to horrific prisons in El Salvador without any due process.
That is a straight up lie....

'The 13,099 immigrants convicted of homicide living in the U.S. may have never had contact with ICE, the two law enforcement officials said.'

It is a fact that there have been thousands of American's killed in this country by illegals, and what you are advocating is that, 'all is good', you don't care....That may not make you criminally culpable in the Law's eyes, but, it makes you complicit in my eyes, you piece of trash.

This is what I voted for.

Absolutely, I only wish it were accelerated....

The fact that liberal progressives are in here every day complaining, and lying is proof that Trump IS fulfilling his promises...

The administration said they found the leakers weeks ago. So far still no word on who these (fake) leakers were.

(because it never happened)

They are “leaking” the incompetence, arrogance and excesses of their employers.

Americans have always bitched about their employers.
Trump is turning it into a witch hunt
