So the entire argument is they don't become radicalized until they get here so there's no danger letting them in?
Libtarded doesn't do you idiots justice.
Or maybe they become radicalized because of US policy. But we don't want to change that policy, let's just keep on hitting Muslim countries and pretend there aren't any consequences.
Or maybe they become radicalized because of US policy.
Good point. Keep them all out of the US, until we no longer have a policy.
Then keep them out longer. Just to be safe.
Yeah let's rip up the Constitution .. just for the illusion of safety.
"Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
Ben Franklin
Yeah let's rip up the Constitution .. just for the illusion of safety.
Does the Constitution say we need to let in Muslims?
It's been a while since I read it, but I don't remember that part......
No, it doesn't. Also doesn't say the US needs to invade Iraq. But hey, it happened.
Since 2001 the right has made it a policy, which mirrors the right's policy in Israel, to make, nurture, foment and increase fear.
It's hardly surprising, the right didn't know what to do after the end of the Cold War, defense spending was down, which mean campaign funding was down. It means the right would have to work harder for their votes, it mean they'd struggle to get in their key policies, it would mean a disaster for the right.
So, they made Islam the enemy, dressing it up as just Islamic fundamentalism of a certain type to keep states like Saudi Arabia on board and keep the oil flowing. They managed to hit OPEC which was trying to get stronger under Hugo Chavez too.
This whole policy has taken 16 years, the world is far less safe, the US is far more draconian now than it's been in a long time, the right is happy, more or less, they're back in the game.
You, on the other hand, are getting screwed up the ass, but you like it because they tell you that they're winning, and that's all you care about.
