I am not fighting against the governor’s ability to reject placement of and that it illegal aliens. I am Saying that his tactic of trying to shut down shelters that are helping the community is a weak minded and piss poor way of fighting.

As I posted in my reply above - quoting from the article in the OPost -- those SHELTERS ARE OWNED by the State and were created SPECIFICALLY as a temporary orphanage to house "unescorted minors" disposed of into the state. It's NOT KNOWN that they serve any "general public" use !!!!!!

And if the gen public DID use them, they'd be OVERWHELMINGLY packed with migrant children that SHOULD NOT BE HERE..

As far as impacts on PRIVATE shelters that may receive token state funds, most PRIVATE shelters are 80% or more funded thru civic, religious or local fund drives. THEY would NEVER be totally shut down.

its like when coyote and i talked about remain in mexico. she was worried/concerned about the conditions just south of the border not being friendly for these people. well, maybe not. but that also meant we have undesirable people just south of our border that come and go as they please.

also, if you don't want to be in a bad situation, don't put yourself in one. doing something you know endangers your life and expecting others to pull you out - just not smart to me.

It would be STUPID administration to flood general public shelters with unvetted "minor" child migrants that TURN OUT TO BE 23 or 25 years old. Which has been very common.
