Progressives use these disasters as an excuse to smear Republicans on government money. Never mind the growing of social programs that gets larger every year. The people caught cheating, stealing and corruption are just the tip of the iceberg. The mountain areas affected now will recover and should build better with any water problems. That storm was not normal. I believe that coastal areas need to improve building codes and do it well. And they will as there will be a time they will not receive any financial help from the feds. On any oceanfront areas where the water in encroaching, it is time to be smart.
