Trying to be appointed a moderator? In a thread dated Jan 6, 2024@Dont Taz Me Bro posed the question "Is DeSantis going to drop out of the race on Jan. 15?"
Thanks for the democrat declaration of loyalty to communism. If that is directed at me, I am a Democrat. I know enough about the writings of Karl Marx to believe that he had two valid insights, and that he was mistaken about everything else.
My knowledge of Marx includes writings of his I studied in college, The Communist Manifesto, which I have read on several occasions, and a fascinating seminar on Das Kapital I took given by the American Communist Party.
I already owned most of the books on the reading list, including all three volumes of Das Kapital, printed in Moscow, by Progress Publishers.
I have known and liked members of the C.P.U.S.A. We disagreed more often than not, but we disagreed while remaining agreeable.
A Communist is one who thinks Karl Marx was right about everything. I explained that I do not. Thanks for the democrat declaration of loyalty to communism.
But but can he be VP ?What a guy that Ron DeSantis is!
From here on out, he will never be known as "Ron DeSanctimonious"!

That is no reason Legally ( Which is what I was gettin at )No, his term as Florida governor doesn't end until 2027.
True, he isn't married to the job. I guess he could quit and go to work for Trump, but Florida would miss him.
But Constitutionally there is no issue with the POTUS & his VP both from Florida ?Umm that's debatable since a lot of people in Florida have turned on him now.

DeSantis still leaves open the possibility of running if Trump is sentenced to prison.
