DeSantis budget plan contains $8 million to remove illegal immigrants from Florida

In a state where it's legal to run down people using their First Amendment rights, and democracy of parents voting for masks to protect their children, is overridden by the idiot governor's ideas of "free-dumb"? How can you have respect for the rule of law, or the Constitution, when the governor has no respect or regard for either.
what on Earth are you talking about?

Your issue is because of your biased distortion of events and not the governors acts.

While that's generally true of politicians, Ron DeSantis has already shown he will back up his words with bold action.

You say this despite me showing where he has not.
There has been a long-time relationship between Mexican migrant workers and American agricultural businesses. That has been a reciprocal relationship that does not harm this country. The workers generally retain their native Mexican citizenship and go back home to Mexico or to different regions in the US according to growing seasons. They are different than the horde of illegal foreigners pouring across our borders with Democrats help.

Those who come legally, come legally. Florida is awash with illegals and DeSantis is not about to do anything about that for the reasons I note.

Sign of the times. Literally.

I don't think Mexican migrant workers are his target in that largely agricultural state.

And the truth was not your target with this post.

People can be here legally and send money out of the country.

They can. They can get bank accounts and not have to go to check cashing places also.......like my son has since done.

All the same, you know no one is going to do a thing about illegals working here but yet you will insist on making excuses like you did here.

It depends on who's enforcing laws...for example, during the last admin we saw a president get the largest penality in history for someone knowingly hiring illegals

You see a rare occasional occurrence. There are millions and millions working here illegally. A quick bill that makes e-verify mandatory with huge fines and jail mandatory would go a long ways to addressing this but there is a reason that is never going to happen and you understand why.

Other measures,

Ron DeSantis Announces 6 Proposals to Crack Down on Corporations, Left-Wing NGOs Aiding Illegal Immigration

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) announced six legislative proposals, with hopes to pass them into law through the legislature, that would drastically crackdown on corporations and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) who facilitate illegal immigration to the state.

During a press conference on Friday morning, DeSantis announced a series of legislative actions to reduce illegal immigration across the state. The six proposals would:

1. Ban state and local agencies from doing business with or providing benefits to any private-sector business or NGO that helps facilitate illegal immigration to Florida.

2. Ban state agencies from renewing state contracts with transportation companies, such as airlines and bus services, that facilitate illegal immigration to Florida.

3. Require private-sector businesses and NGOs, who facilitate illegal immigration to Florida, to provide compensation to the state of Florida to cover all costs that fall on taxpayers.

4. Mandate county and local jails, as well as courts, to collect immigration status data at the time of a suspect’s arrest and conviction. The information would be reported to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

5. Ban Florida officials from providing any discretionary benefits to illegal aliens while state agencies and hospitals will be required to annually report taxpayer-funded expenses for illegal aliens.

6. Add the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity as an enforcer of E-Verify.

e-verify won’t prevent illegals from getting hired as they can and often do steal legal l people’s Id

"It’s somewhat tongue in cheek, but it is true, if you sent them to Delaware or Martha’s Vineyard or some of these places, that border would be secure the next day.

It's really sad when politicians believe this is how one leads.........with what they even acknowledge are not actual solutions.
This is called human trafficking.
I see an orange jumpsuit in DeSantis' future.

trump isn't going to let DeSantis run.

All those illegal immigrants are employed by Republicans who like their cheap labor.
All 2 million and counting of them, right?
There are no jobs. There is no place for them to live. Whatever market there was is saturated. The women are going into sex slavery and the men can be cartel drug dealers and killers. It still won't be enough as millions from around the world keep coming. Eventually these rats will fight over dwindling resources.

Fraudulent ID's are probably an overlooked problem. A fake document can lead to officially issued ID's seeming to be legitimate.

Several years ago an investigation in my city exposed that an attraction for illegals coming here was the accessible quality fraudulent documents that could turn them into 'citizens.'

Once that's established they can go undetected and even vote.
