People did spend a lot of time awaiting trial, but that’s usually because of their own actions, whether they’re filing a flurry of pretrial motions or changing lawyers all the time. Often they just ask for more time to prepare their defense.

Compare that to how Kalief Browder was treat. Not that you care about that since, you know, he’s not like you.

Police even held the door open for them at some locations. But the films always shown only show the front of the crowd where the violence occurred, and at that, the violence didn't start until police started throwing crowd control bombs injuring many into the formerly peaceful crowd.

And all they wanted was an honest accounting of the 2020 election before anyone was certified its winner.

They weren’t held without charges for months.

A handful were denied bail because they’re violent offenders and flight risks. That’s not unusual.

They weren’t denied visits.

They weren’t denied food.

They weren’t denied medical care. (One guy claimed he was denied medical care but the care he was requesting was some bullshit herbal nonsense from a quack for a benign condition).

The “journalist” you’re referring to was an agitator, egging on the crowd and not really a journalist.

Cops didn’t let rioters in.

The rioters engaged in violence first. Basically from the second the rioters came in contact with police, they started shoving them back further and further.
