I've posted on here that he is one of my favourite actors. There are a handful of actors in Hollywood, maybe two handfuls, of which I will watch any movie they are in because I know that they are great, convincing actors and they generally choose good movies to act in. He is one of a few I will watch an interview with as he is not a Hollywood hanger-on, he is an intelligent free thinker who has "been there" (like many of us, without the stardom) among so many who are not very intelligent and definitely more robotic and follow instead of lead.

I loved when he basically gave a lecture around a table of famous actors and producers and reminded them that they don't have a hard job...soldiers in a war do. Man that was such a hard hitting speech and you could see in their faces that they don't appreciate what hard work truly is.

The Equalizer series has long run it's course, but, I watch them only because he is in them and I want to support a free thinker. I do the same for a few others. I hope he never changes. He is an important role model not just for young black men but ALL young men who are lost, confused and chasing the wrong pursuits in life. He believes deeply in G-d. More around the globe should do the same in a peaceful manner. He may save some men and have them re-evaluate their priorities.

Denzel Washington is making it clear – he wants nothing to do with cancel culture.

In a heated conversation on the topic with Complex, the actor ripped into the concept of being canceled, saying he doesn't care that much about public support or followers.

When asked if he considers the idea of being "canceled," Washington was quick to question the term, asking, "What does that mean — to be canceled?"

While she explained that the term essentially meant losing public support, Washington’s response was unapologetically bold: "Who cares? What made public support so important to begin with?"

The reporter told him that "followers now are currency," to which he replied, "I don’t care who’s following who."

Being cancelled was more than just losing followers. It was being deplatformed, demonitized and debanked.
The Covid Shit Show brought all this heavy tyranny down on many.

Not sure what the cancel culture is.

I have never understood why audiences can't just enjoy fine acting without consideration of the actor's character, believes, love affairs, drug abuse, race, religion, sexual preference, etc, etc. Actors should be judged on the quality of their acting, not their personal lives.

While I get what he is trying to address, he does need to remember that the public is who the films are made for. Who does he think is in the theaters watching the films and at the stores buying the movie DVDs? I don't believe that it's any of the animals from the nearest zoos.

God bless you and Denzel always!!!
