I think too often we side with Isreal and protect Isreal when we shouldn't. Part of the problem I believe is the unacceptance of Muslims and their beliefs. Democrats tend to do things that don't piss off the muslim countries as much. I have been friends with many muslims and I have read the Quran. If you understand Islam it all starts to make sense how extremists can think they way they do, I don't agree with them at all and see error in their judgment. I have read the Quran though, and I can see just like Christianity it can be subject to dangerous extremist beliefs depending how it is interpreted.
